KING wins 9 awards, more than any other TV station in the country
MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 19, 2016--
TEGNA Inc. (NYSE: TGNA) today won 64 Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards
across TEGNA Media, including four for overall excellence, the highest
award given. TEGNA Media won more awards than any other station group.
The competition is sponsored by the Radio Television Digital News
Association (RTDNA) and honors outstanding achievements in electronic
journalism.

Excellence.
