We have a strong balance sheet and are positioned to weather current market challenges and deliver long-term value to our shareholders.Despite the success of this strategy, a hedge fund with a questionable investment track record and interests in other broadcasting companies is seeking to destabilize your Board of Directors by nominating a slate of candidates that we believe lack qualifications and experience that would be additive to TEGNA’s highly qualified and experienced Board and/or have conflicts of interest.
